Patricia Drew was a very active force in the workshop for many years, certainly in the 1990s and earlier 2000s.

As well as having organised many successful past exhibitions and designing the required publicity and doing the necessary networking, she was an active artist, designer and teacher in her own right.

She was very instrumental in gaining us much the needed lottery money (14k plus) in the late 1990s, the results of which we benefit from on a daily basis, such as the bigger Rochat etching press, the UV exposure unit in the darkroom, the portable press for outreach and creating the opportunity to have the office space upstairs (it was formally loft style storage on a smaller mezzanine, accessible by ladder only) and various storage units (stone and plate storage) which were part of the original lottery bid and which are still in use today.

It was so good that we were able to stage her final exhibition last year, and also make her an honorary member.
